Clare Jones is the Chief Scientific Officer at Talisman Therapeutics. In this leadership role, she is responsible for implementing the scientific strategy of the company. She has oversight of all of Talisman’s research projects and manages the scientific team. She previously held the position of Head of R&D at Talisman for four years. Clare has 15 years of commercial experience in cell biology and neuroscience. She has wide-ranging expertise in drug discovery including target identification and has worked in a number of specialist fields including Neuroscience, Multiple Sclerosis and Respiratory/Inflammation research. Prior to joining Talisman, Clare was a Senior Scientist at MedImmune for six years where she led and supported ongoing pipeline research projects and led a cross-functional research team. Previously, she held positions with Xention, NeuroSolutions and AstraZeneca. Clare has a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge.
