Sergey Sitnikov PhD
Postdoctoral Scientist I
Sergey Sitnikov is a Postdoctoral Scientist at Talisman Therapeutics. He undertakes experimental work across a wide range of collaborative projects at Talisman. Before joining Talisman, Sergey worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University College London. During this time, he investigated the mechanisms of axonal plasticity in hippocampal neurons. Prior to this, he completed postdoctoral work at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, where he studied novel applications for high-density multi-electrode arrays in neuroscience research. Sergey has a Master’s degree in Medical Physics from Moscow State University, Russia and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. His PhD research focused on neuron-glia interactions and glial electrophysiology.
