R&D Project Manager
We are currently recruiting for an ambitious, enthusiastic, R&D Project Manager to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for monitoring and coordination of Talisman’s internal and external research and development project portfolio. This is a pivotal role in the organisation to manage workflow and resources across multiple projects. The position will have a particular focus on building, maintaining and communicating a dynamic progress map of every project. The role will also assist with allocation of staff resources across and between projects. We are looking for a proactive project manager with proven capabilities and a desire to make a difference as part of an experienced, collaborative team.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Research programme management: reviewing project plans, measuring progress, identifying issues and communications.
- Staff resource management: Co-developing a new resource management system, proposing allocation of staff to specific projects, maintaining the resource management system.
- Assisting with project planning for new projects: workflow planning and costing, assisting with assessing market opportunities.
Essential qualifications and skills:
Essential qualifications are a minimum of a 2.1 class honours degree and a post-graduate degree in a relevant scientific or technical field. Essential skills include hands-on experience in project management, project planning and resource management.
