Postdoctoral Scientist

Tom Campbell is a Postdoctoral Scientist at Talisman Therapeutics. He is responsible for conducting experimental work and managing ongoing project activities.

Before joining Talisman, Tom worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute where he investigated genetic susceptibility to breast cancer development, and performed mechanistic follow-up studies into inherited breast cancer risk from genome-wide association study data.

Tom has a BSc in biochemistry (1st class Hons) from the University of Warwick and a PhD in oncology from the University of Manchester (CASE studentship with AstraZeneca). His PhD studied the role of voltage-gated sodium channels in the development and progression of metastatic human cancers.
